When I was a kid, my dad used to cut out free pizza hut Coupons. When I finished baseball practice that week, or if I won a game, we would go get pizza together - with his coupon. Being young, and not having much taste, I always got the plain pizza - something I think we can all understand doing at one point or another.
As I got older, we'd ave pizza on gatherings, or just family nights together. When I got older, I'd stay up late with friends eating cold pizza and talking about the recent happenings in our days. I think back to how much pizza I've eaten over the years, and how much I've spent: it must've been hundreds - and how much could I have saved if I followed what my dad did, and clipped out those Pizza Hut coupons! Long story short, pizza's been with me my entire life.
Whether it was having a beer with friends, or that dinner after baseball practice, or staying up late working, a bit of pizza will take me back to those decades long ago.
